Three people, including a child, were killed in a nighttime Russian drone attack on residential buildings in the city of Sumy. Despite the efforts of Ukrainian air defense forces, which destroyed 25 drones, several drones hit residential areas, resulting in civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure.
On October 22, air defense successfully shot down 25 enemy drones in the skies over Sumy region. However, enemy troops continue to shell Sumy.
In the morning, the enemy struck a residential apartment building and critical infrastructure facilities. The consequences of the morning attack are currently being clarified.
Unfortunately, as a result of nightly shelling that hit residential buildings in the private sector of the regional center, three people died, including one child.
