In Poland, the tragic search for 15-year-old Ukrainian Margarita Schreiber, who disappeared in Warsaw on January 10, 2025, ended. Her body was found in the Belyan area, but the identification procedure lasted more than a month. This was reported by the Polish edition Vitrina.pl with reference to a second family.
According to a man close to the Margarita family, the official confirmation of the death of the girl was received only days. In his comment, he thanked everyone who joined the search, supported his family and did not stay indifferent.
"We inform you that Margarita's search has ended tragically. Her body was found about one and a half months ago, but only now the identification procedure is completed," he told reporters.
The preliminary results of the investigation indicate that third parties were not detected in the tragedy. However, the final conclusions about the circumstances of death have not yet been made public.
We will remind that Margarita Schreiber disappeared on January 10: she left home in the Warsaw district of Bayalolenko with the intention to get to school, but never returned. It was last seen at about 3:30 pm in the Tarkhomine residential quarter.
