Top professions in Ukraine: who earns the most in Ukraine

The modern Ukrainian labor market demonstrates a growing demand for highly qualified specialists. Among the most sought-after are English language teachers and deminers, who receive some of the highest salaries in the country.

The number of vacancies for English language teachers is consistently high, and salaries often exceed market averages. On personnel portals, you can find hundreds of offers for such specialists.

  • IT companies are ready to pay English teachers from UAH 27,800 to UAH 44,500 for teaching children aged 4 to 13 years.
  • Foreign language schools offer an even wider range - from UAH 15,000 to UAH 52,000, but require a level of language proficiency no lower than Advanced and experience working with adults.
  • Foreign language centers offer salaries of up to UAH 50,000, emphasizing the ability to plan lessons and a high level of language knowledge.

The lack of higher philological education is not always an obstacle - the main criterion is real competence and a pedagogical approach.

In parallel with traditional professions, new specialties are emerging in Ukraine. According to the Ministry of Economy, 50 new positions were added to the list. Among them:

  • The operator for the search for explosive objects (deminer) is one of the highest paid professions. In the civilian sector, the salary for sappers can reach 72,000 hryvnias.
  • In the field of defense, rates are even higher - up to UAH 190,000 per month.

In addition to deminers, the following became popular:

  • Nutritionists who create individual meal plans;
  • Medical statistics professionals;
  • Specialists in the protection of critical infrastructure objects;
  • Managers of sports activities.

The dynamics of the Ukrainian labor market indicate a change in priorities and the emergence of new professions adapted to modern challenges. The demand for English teachers remains stable, which is connected with globalization and the need to know foreign languages. While new professions related to security and protection reflect the realities of wartime.
