Tragedy in Zaporizhzhia: the number of victims of the Russian attack has increased to ten

The tragedy in Zaporizhzhia, caused by a Russian missile attack on December 10, continues to reveal its terrible consequences. Rescuers found the body of another victim among the rubble of the destroyed building, raising the death toll to ten.

Details of the tragedy

Ivan Fedorov, the head of Zaporizhzhya OVA, reported in Telegram:

"Rescuers retrieved the woman's body from the rubble of the building destroyed by a Russian missile on December 10. Thus, the number of dead increased to ten. 22 people were injured."

Rescue operations are still ongoing at the scene of the tragedy. According to Fedorov, one more person may be under the rubble.

A rocket attack on the center of Zaporizhzhia destroyed civilian infrastructure, including a private clinic, damaged about 20 residential buildings and three non-residential buildings.

One child is among the 22 victims. More than 160 rescuers and about 50 pieces of equipment are involved in liquidation of the consequences of the disaster.

The tragedy of December 10 is not an isolated case. Only a few days ago, on December 6, Russian troops struck a busy area of ​​the city, as a result of which children were among the dead.
