Tragedy in Khotyanivka: two people died as a result of a fire on New Year's Eve

On January 1, 2025, a fatal fire occurred in the village of Khotyanivka, Kyiv region, as a result of which two people died. This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the State Emergency Service of the Kyiv region.

The fire broke out at 05:34, when the Vyshgorod district operational dispatch service received a report about a fire in farm buildings. The rescuers who arrived at the scene found out that the fire had covered the entire area of ​​the building.

During the elimination of the fire, rescuers removed the bodies of two dead persons. The age and identities of the dead are currently being established. The fire was completely extinguished at 06:48.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established, and the investigation is ongoing.
