The tragic incident happened in the Desnyanskiy district of Kiev-a 4-year-old boy fell out of the window of the high-rise building. According to the police of the capital, the child was killed on the spot from the injuries.
According to preliminary data, the tragedy happened in the apartment on the 21st floor. At the time of the accident, the boy was in the room with his 6-year-old sister while his mother was in the kitchen. Probably, the baby was playing by the window, leaning on a mosquito net that could not withstand its weight.
Doctors who arrived on the call stated the death of the child. Law enforcement officers are currently establishing all the circumstances of the event. It is known that the family lives in this apartment permanently.
Police once again urge parents to be extremely careful: not to leave children unattended in rooms with open windows and not to rely on mosquito nets that are not capable of withstanding the weight of the child.
