Tragedy in Kyiv region: 42-year-old man dies under train wheels

A 42-year-old local resident tragically died at the Nemishayevo railway station in the Kyiv region. According to the Kyiv region police, the man was hit by a train, and despite all the driver's attempts to avoid the collision, the tragedy could not be prevented.

The station duty officer reported this information, after which law enforcement officers immediately arrived at the scene of the incident.

According to preliminary data, the driver noticed a man on the tracks and tried to avoid being hit: he signaled and applied emergency braking. However, the tragedy could not be avoided - the man died from his injuries at the scene.

Investigators of the Buchanan Police Department have initiated criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and investigative actions are ongoing to establish all the circumstances.

Kyiv region law enforcement officers are urging citizens to be careful near railway tracks. They should only be crossed in designated places, as ignoring safety rules can have tragic consequences.
