On December 25, a tragic road accident involving two cars occurred in Vinnytsia Oblast, resulting in the death of four people and serious injuries to two others.
The accident occurred in the morning between the villages of Tarasivka and Chechelivka, Haisyn district. According to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region, two cars collided - a Subaru and a Geely.
Rescuers had to use special equipment to unblock the bodies of the deceased from the mangled cars.
The police are currently investigating the causes of the collision. According to preliminary data, adverse weather conditions, speeding, or failure to comply with traffic rules could have led to the tragedy.
The State Emergency Service once again reminds of the need to follow road safety rules, especially in the winter, when weather conditions significantly complicate traffic.
This tragedy is another reminder of the importance of responsible driving.
