A tragedy has occurred in the Poltava region: missing 2-year-old Adriana Malyshevska has been found dead. Her body was discovered by law enforcement officers during a search of the household where the family lived.
The girl's mother reported her disappearance on February 22, 2025, after which the child was put on the wanted list. However, the police soon discovered that the mother's 27-year-old roommate may have been involved in the child's disappearance.
During the investigation, the child's body was found hidden in a summer kitchen. Traces of violent death were found on it. The suspect was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
He has currently been charged under Part 2, Part 2, Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional murder of a minor child). If proven guilty, the man faces 10 to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment.
Law enforcement officers are continuing their investigation to establish all the circumstances of this horrific crime.
