New shelling in Kharkiv region has destroyed residential buildings, shops, cars and other infrastructure. Russian attacks have killed two people and injured several civilians, including people of all ages. 53 people have been evacuated from the most affected regions due to the danger.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, adding that the situation in the region remains difficult.

In Kharkiv itself, as a result of shelling, shops and windows of several apartment buildings were damaged and a 64-year-old woman was injured. In the Chuguiv district, during a repeated attack, two apartments in a multi-storey building caught fire. Two residents were also injured - a 36-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman. Debris from a downed drone hit the roof of a building, damaging windows and five cars.
In the Borivska community of Izyum district, debris from a car hit a local store. In Kupyansk, Russian shelling damaged several residential buildings. Three men, ages 35, 49, and 61, were injured.
The greatest damage was done to private households and multi-storey buildings. Up to 40 garages were destroyed in the Kupyansky district, killing a man and a woman. In the village of Prudyanka, Kharkiv district, five private houses and a car were damaged, and a 60-year-old man was injured.
Nine combat clashes have occurred in the Kupyansk direction over the past 24 hours. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to repel enemy attacks in the Kucherivka, Kruglyakivka, and Lozovo districts. Due to the danger, 53 people were evacuated from the Kupyansk and Borivka directions and will be temporarily placed in safe regions.
Oleg Synegubov noted that assistance to the affected areas is being provided promptly, and work is underway to restore critical infrastructure. The Ukrainian authorities continue to call on the international community to strengthen sanctions against Russia, which is waging an aggressive war against the civilian population of Ukraine.
