According to the results of January-October 2024, Ukraine's GDP grew by 4.2%, with the main growth drivers in the transport, construction and industry sectors. As reported by the Ministry of Economy, economic growth is supported by the implementation of recovery programs and growing demand for construction work. The importance of the stable operation of the grain corridor for transport and the growth of demand for processing industry products, in particular in the defense-industrial complex (DIC), was separately noted.
In October 2024, compared to October 2023, GDP grew by 1.3%. Growth was supported by key sectors such as transport, manufacturing, and construction. However, a decline was recorded in the agricultural sector due to early harvest, as farmers completed the harvest of certain crops by October.
Data from the Ministry of Economy show that in September 2024, GDP growth was 3.8%, and over the nine months the economy grew by 4.5%. In general, the positive dynamics of the Ukrainian economy are observed due to effective recovery programs and active work in key sectors of the economy.
