Travesti-diva Monroe recently shared her experience of going to the Territorial Recruiting Center (TCC) and passing the Military Medical Commission (MMC). She said that her visit was initially full of anxiety: "I felt like I was going to be shot," she admitted, expressing her fears of possible condemnation and negative reactions from those around her.
Popular Ukrainian blogger Nevgamovna Monroe, who according to the documents is a man, visited the territorial recruitment and social support center, but she was excluded from military registration due to certain medical circumstances.
According to her, despite the fact that she is not on the military register, all her documents are in the "Rezerv+" mobile application. Also, as explained to her, she could not have updated the data, but did so anyway to stay within the law.
"Returning to the question of impressions, when I hear negative stories about TCC now, it becomes very sad. I have a very positive experience with this structure. Everything was within the law. Yes, queues, a long backlog with documents. And I had to undergo more than one inspection of the VLK. But you don't scare me with that. And I didn't notice that someone was being pulled by the hands in the TCC. I saw recruiting even then, but I didn't delve into it, because I didn't go to the military commissariat for that," Monroe said.
Separately, the blogger added that she saw young men in the TCC and JV who went to the service under a contract and she was fascinated by them, mentally thanking them for their act.
In addition, Monroe was not just worried before going to the TCC, but even afraid. This is connected with certain emotional traumas that have accompanied her for many years. In the end, everything went much better than expected, and no one pointed fingers, on the contrary, they helped.
"They even once asked to take a picture. Moreover, the woman who came, as I understood, to update her data. Some women are also conscripted. In short, my experience was positive. And now, when I observe how aggressive a part of society is, I feel sad for them and for the employees of the TCC. You can't draw conclusions only from videos that are on the Internet. And those who write all kinds of abominations do not offer any alternatives. And this applies not only to the TCC, but to everything that is happening with us now," Monroe concluded.
We will remind, on April 30 it was reported that Diva Monroe explained whether she is being mobilized under the recently adopted law. When asked about the need to clarify data under the new draft law, the blogger then replied that she would do as required by the rules.
