Travesty diva Monroe recently shared her experience of going to the Territorial Recruiting Center (TCC) and passing the military medical commission (VLK). She said that her visit was initially filled with anxiety: “I went as if to a shooting,” she admitted, expressing her fears of possible condemnation and negative reactions from others.
Popular Ukrainian blogger Nevgamovna Monroe, who is registered as a man, visited the territorial recruitment and social support center, but was excluded from military registration due to certain medical circumstances.
According to her, despite the fact that she is not registered in the military, all her documents are in the mobile application “Reserve+”. In addition, as explained to her, she could not have updated the data, but she did it anyway to stay within the law.
“Returning to the question of impressions, when I hear negative stories about the CCC now, it becomes very sad. I have experience of communicating with this structure - and it is very positive. Everything was within the law. Yes, queues, a long red tape with documents. And I had to go through more than one inspection of the VLK. But I am not scared by this. And I did not notice that anyone was being pulled by the hands in the CCC. I saw the recruitment even then, but I did not delve into it, because I did not go to the military registration and enlistment office for this,” Monroe said.
Separately, the blogger added that she saw young men in the CCC and the SP who were serving under a contract, and she was impressed by them, mentally thanking them for their act.
In addition, Monroe was not just worried about going to the CCC, but even afraid. This is due to certain emotional traumas that have accompanied her for many years. In the end, everything went much better than expected, and no one pointed fingers, but on the contrary - they helped.
“They even asked me to take a picture once. And a woman who came, as I understand it, to update her data. Some women are also conscripts. In short, my experience was positive. And now, when I observe how aggressively a part of society is, I feel sad for them and for the employees of the CCC. You can’t draw conclusions only from videos that are on the Internet. And those who write all sorts of nasty things — they don’t offer any alternatives. And this applies not only to the CCC, but to everything that is happening to us now,” Monroe concluded.
As a reminder, on April 30, it was reported that Diva Monroe explained whether she would be mobilized under the recently passed law. When asked about the need to clarify data under the new bill, the blogger then replied that she would do as the rules require.
