Law enforcement officers reported suspicion to three men who participated in the conflict that ended with a fatal shooting in a hotel on Pechersk in Kyiv. This is reported by the Prosecutor General's Office.
Two residents of Odesa and a resident of Kyiv were notified of suspicion of hooliganism committed by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
According to the investigation, on November 23, 2024, two residents of Odesa region, in a hotel in the center of Kyiv, for hooligan motives, began to hit a man who was also resting in the hotel with his military friend. Another participant in the conflict, a man from Kyiv, punched a serviceman in the jaw that evening, as a result of which the man fell to the floor and lost consciousness, the prosecutor's office said.
The prosecutor's office recalled that a serious quarrel in the hotel that day broke out at about 00:30 between several companies of men, the conflict escalated into a fight.
One of the participants took out a gun and opened fire. As a result, a resident of the hotel died, and his friend and the hotel security guard received chest injuries and were hospitalized.
Who has already received suspicion
Earlier in this case, two residents of Dnipro and Vasylkov were informed of suspicion of hooliganism with the use of firearms (parts 2, 4 of article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). In addition, one of them is also charged with intentional homicide (part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Now other participants in the conflict - three people - have received suspicions of hooliganism.
