Three children in Kyiv poisoned by drugs contained in chocolate

Three children were hospitalized in Kyiv in a week after eating chocolate with mushrooms and marijuana, a children's hospital reports.

It is noted that in the last week alone, four children have been admitted to this medical facility with signs of intoxication after consuming chocolate.

Initially, two children from the same family were hospitalized with signs of impaired consciousness and vomiting. The younger child was hospitalized in intensive care. The cause of their condition was cannabis. Both children had consumed humanitarian chocolate in unlabeled packaging the day before

A few days later, another child was admitted to the hospital with similar symptoms. She had a state of psychomotor agitation with hallucinations, vomiting, and dilated pupils. This child had also consumed psilocybin-laced chocolate the day before, which her father had given her.

The hospital doctors have passed on the data on these cases to the police. The hospital has also appealed to parents to check the content of the sweets they give their children.
