The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that three Ukrainian nuclear power plants have largely resumed electricity production after a period of capacity reduction. Restoring the operation of the nuclear power plant is key to the country's energy stability in wartime conditions.
Last week, they cut production sharply as a precaution due to the shelling of the energy industry. The substation was damaged.
Some external power lines of the NPP still remain disconnected.
"The fragile situation with networks remains a source of deep concern and we will continue to closely monitor relevant developments," said IAEA chief Grossi.
Of the nine reactors, eight are operating, and one is in a state of shutdown.
