The Tuzlivski Limany National Nature Park, located in the Odessa region, hides within its borders a true natural wonder – the Tuzlivska Amazonia. This unique place fascinates with its beauty and biological diversity, which attracts both scientists and tourists.
“There is a wonderful place in the national park with incredible views, estuaries, inland lakes, groups of animals and plants called the Tuzliv Amazonia Border. It is almost the middle of the military winter of 2025 and almost 20 thousand birds periodically live here at different times of the day…”, the scientist said.
According to him, these birds are mostly ducks of various species, white-fronted geese and red-bellied geese. Rusev says that from time to time the birds disappear for a certain period. This happens, as the scientist explained, when they are frightened by the powerful noises of war - the flight of UAVs, explosions, etc.
“The plants here are almost “sleeping,” but some are still blooming in the wetlands – salt marsh aster, as well as rapeseed, which penetrates into natural areas from neighboring fields,” adds Rusev.
