The national natural park "Tuzlivski lymany", located in the Odesa region, hides within its borders a real natural wonder - the "Tuzliv Amazonia". This unique place fascinates with its beauty and biological diversity, which attracts both scientists and tourists.
"There is a wonderful place in the national park with incredible landscapes, estuaries, inland lakes, groups of animals and plants called the Border of the Tuzli Amazonia." Now it is almost the middle of the military winter of 2025, and almost 20 thousand birds periodically live here at different times of the day..." - said the scientist.
According to him, among these birds, mainly ducks of various species, white-fronted geese and red-headed geese. Rusev says that from time to time the birds disappear for a certain period. This happens, as the scientist explained, when they are frightened by the powerful noises of war - the flight of UAVs, explosions, etc.
"The plants are almost 'sleeping' here, but some are still blooming in the wetlands - salt aster, as well as rapeseed, which penetrates into the natural areas from the neighboring fields," Rusev adds.
