The bodies of two men were found in a hotel in the Polish city of Krakow. One of the deceased is a Ukrainian citizen who had been living in the hotel room for the past two years. This was reported by Katarzyna Ciesło, a spokeswoman for the Lesser Poland Voivodeship police, Polish Radio reports, citing local law enforcement agencies.
The incident occurred on May 10. Hotel staff contacted police after finding two dead men in one of the rooms. Investigators determined that one of them was a 58-year-old Ukrainian. The identity of the second deceased has not yet been established, but preliminary data suggests that he is also about 58 years old.
According to Katarzyna Ciesło, the preliminary investigation suggests that one of the men may have been the victim of murder, while the other may have committed suicide. However, the exact circumstances of the tragedy, as well as the cause and time of death, will only be known after a forensic examination.
Police are continuing to establish the identity of the second man and all the details of the incident.
