Ukrainian law enforcement officers have exposed two foreigners who were recruiting children for sexual exploitation, the Prosecutor General's Office reported on Monday, September 15.
The suspects are men aged 33 and 55. The investigation found that for several months they had been looking for children from low-income families and offering them between 150 and 200 euros to commit sexual crimes against them.
Foreigners committed lewd acts against children, which they recorded on mobile phones and then distributed the produced materials on the Internet.
The men were charged with recruiting minors and minors for sexual exploitation, child abuse, and production and distribution of child pornography under Part 3 of Article 149, Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 156, and Part 4 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
A report of suspicion was sent to the law enforcement agencies of the countries whose citizens the exposed foreigners are.
Note that the Prosecutor General's Office does not specify the region in which the criminals operated.
