An incident involving the use of physical force against a 16-year-old student occurred in the dormitory of a Chernivtsi vocational school. Two teenagers intoxicated with alcohol attacked the boy and recorded their actions on video. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Chernivtsi region.
Police officers, as indicated, have identified and documented the illegal actions of minors involved in the incident that occurred on December 14 in the dormitory of the Chernivtsi vocational school. A thorough investigation of the incident, carried out by juvenile police officers together with educators, is also ongoing.
"Law enforcement officers established that two residents of the regional center, aged 14 and 17, probably under the influence of alcohol, entered the room of a 16-year-old student. The guy let them in through the dormitory window on his own," the police reported.
During a conversation between the minors, a conflict arose, during which the younger guest began to hit the dormitory resident, and the older one filmed the beating on his mobile phone.
Currently, within the framework of criminal proceedings, the necessary procedural actions are being carried out and appropriate examinations have been ordered.
Information about the event was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 1 of Article 125 (Intentional slight bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In addition, juvenile police officers conduct preventive work with participants in the event and representatives of the educational institution.
"Based on the results of a comprehensive and objective investigation, a final legal qualification of the event will be provided," the police said.
