Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, has officially left the supervisory board of JSC Ukrposhta. He announced his decision on June 1 on his Facebook page, explaining this by the need to fully concentrate on managing the capital under martial law.
"At the moment, my journey as a member of the supervisory board of Ukrposhta has come to an end. I am fully focused on working for Kyiv and the people of Kyiv for all five months as the head of the KMVA. Combining this work with a supervisory function in a state-owned company is inappropriate and irrelevant," Tkachenko wrote.
As Liga.net specifies with reference to the SMIDA system, Tkachenko officially left the board on May 29, 2025 at his own request. Currently, no new state representative has been appointed to the supervisory board.
Tkachenko held this position for a little over six months. The composition of the supervisory board remains almost unchanged: Rinat Abdrasilov, Gary John Carroll, Olena Malynska, Ihor Mityukov, and Serhiy Derkach still work on it.
Timur Tkachenko was appointed Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration by decree of President Volodymyr Zelensky on December 31, 2024. Prior to that, he worked as Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development and worked closely with Oleksiy Kuleba, whom the Verkhovna Rada appointed Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction in September.
In November 2024, Tkachenko temporarily headed the Operational Headquarters for the Elimination of Consequences of a Large-Scale Man-Made Accident in Kryvyi Rih, where over 110,000 residents were left without heating. Prior to that, he worked at the Kyiv City State Administration, where he headed the Department of Urban Improvement.
In 2023–2024, he also held the position of Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries.
