Tyshchenko conducted inspections for almost a year, hiding behind a non-existent TSK

MP Mykola Tyshchenko, expelled from the Servant of the People party, continued to report on inspections of various institutions as part of the work of the Temporary Investigative Commission (TIC) on deforestation even after its activities were terminated.

In October 2022, Tyshchenko initiated the creation of the National Resource Investigation Committee, which, according to the documents, was to investigate possible facts of ineffective activities of the State Agencies of Forestry and Water Resources and the State Environmental Inspectorate.

As part of this TSK, Tyshchenko reported on conducting field meetings, inspecting forestry enterprises, and investigating illegal logging. He even made a special uniform for his TSK, similar to the one worn by security forces.

In early May 2023, the Verkhovna Rada did not approve the interim report of the Forest Commission, and its activities were suspended.

Despite this, Mykola Tyshchenko continued to conduct inspections of various institutions, referring to the TSK, and actively informed about this on his social networks.

It is worth noting that members of the TSC, upon presentation of a People's Deputy ID card and on behalf of the commission, can freely enter any institutions, regardless of their form of ownership and secrecy regime. However, Tishchenko carried out such actions without being officially a member of any commission.

In July last year, Tyshchenko reported that, together with the National Police, he had exposed a bot farm in one of the Kyiv offices, noting that he had received this information from citizens' appeals to the National Resources Corporation.

Over the course of the year, the MP regularly wrote about the exposure of call centers and bot farms in various cities of Ukraine as part of the work of the long-defunct TSK on deforestation. Moreover, under the guise of TSK, Tishchenko also reported on inspections of infrastructure facilities.

Recently, Tyshchenko found himself at the center of a scandal over a video showing two men in camouflage from his entourage detaining a plainclothes man in the middle of the street. Tyshchenko claimed that the conflict in Dnipro arose “during searches of fraudulent boat farms.”.

Currently, the People's Deputy is suspected of unlawful imprisonment, and the court has sent him under house arrest.
