In the temporarily occupied Berdyansk of the Zaporizhzhia region, a nighttime explosion caused power and Internet outages in several areas of the city.
The Berdyansk city military administration reported that in the evening of November 29, residents of the 8 Bereznya, Koloniya, Skhidniy Prospekt and other neighborhoods heard a loud explosion. After that, electricity went out in some districts.
"Some townspeople saw a fire near the transformer substation," the message reads.
In addition to power outages, the city is experiencing interruptions in Internet connection. In particular, the Point operator announced an accident on the trunk line and a temporary switch to a backup communication channel.
Berdyansk, which is under Russian occupation, has repeatedly become the site of explosions and damage to critical infrastructure. This creates additional difficulties for local residents who are already feeling the consequences of the occupation.
