A video of two men with axes attacking a group of people in military uniforms has gone viral on social media. The events took place in a remote area of Chernivtsi region, near the border with Romania.
The video shows how two people in military uniform, employees of the TCC (territorial procurement center, former military commissar), are talking to a man sitting on a horse and holding an ax in his hands.
A few minutes later, a yellow "Niva" car (VAZ-2121) appears in the frame and knocks down one of the soldiers. A man gets out of the car, attacks the TCC employees, hits them with an ax and breaks the windows of their car with it.
Both offenders swear and threaten, and then leave the scene. All this conflict is watched from a distance by a group of people with assault rifles in military uniform and policemen.

The police of the Chernivtsi region confirmed to the Ukrainian Air Force that there was an attack specifically on employees of the TCC.
The spokeswoman of the regional administration, Karolina Marysheva, said that the incident happened on March 7 in the village of Ploska, Vyzhnytsky district, near the "Gorlecha" checkpoint. It is in a mountainous area about 5 km from the Romanian border.
Two local residents of the Vyzhnytsky district came to the checkpoint and, according to the police, provoked the conflict themselves, and then inflicted physical injuries on an employee of the TCC, as well as damaged a car.
According to this fact, the investigators started criminal proceedings.
It was established that the driver of the "VAZ-2121" ran over a 41-year-old employee of the TCC. Then, getting out of the car, the offender stopped and hit him in the forearm with the butt of an ax.
Another assailant also struck a soldier in the shoulder with the butt of an ax. An employee of the Military Committee received injuries, the degree of severity of which has yet to be established by an expert examination.
In addition, the men damaged the windshield and side windows of the car of employees of the territorial picking center and fled.
Employees identified the violators as 28-year-old and 43-year-old local residents. They are detained on suspicion of hooliganism.
This is not the first such attack
The event in Chernivtsi region is not the first such attack.
In particular, a month ago in another mountain village - Kosmachi (Ivano-Frankivsk region) a woman and a child were attacked, whom local residents suspected of "working for the TCC".
The victim went to the post office in Kosmach with her 6-year-old daughter.
However, local women blocked her way in the village, who received information that she was supposedly a "gunner of the TCC", that is, she helps the Military Committee to determine the presence of men of conscription age.
According to the victim, the protesters began to beat the car, pulled it through the window, and pulled out her hair. One of the attackers allegedly stuck a bat through the window and hit the child on the head.
The police of the Ivano-Frankivsk region confirmed that three people, including a minor, were injured as a result of the conflict in Kosmachi. Criminal proceedings have been initiated.
It should be noted that at the end of last year and at the beginning of this year, videos of the use of force by TCC employees on men who are probably evading mobilization were also circulated on social networks.
All this is happening against the background of consideration in the parliament of the government's draft law on strengthening mobilization.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the military command requires the mobilization of approximately 500,000 more men for the reserve and rotation of the Armed Forces at the front.
