On the beaches of Chornomorsk (Illichivsk) of the Odesa region, there was public outrage due to the installation of a controversial "fortification", which divides the beach into a zone for vacationers and an almost empty zone. Local residents are upset that such a "defense structure" does not make any sense from the point of view of real defense from the sea and is only a showpiece construction, which, they say, will lead to the theft of taxpayers' money and foreign loans.
A chain of so-called "dragon's teeth". "Fortification" divides the beach into an area with vacationers and an area almost devoid of people. Knowledgeable locals are appalled by the demonstrative audacity of the thefts on this mock defense from the sea.
The nuance is that there is a large area of shallow water (knee-deep) along the city beaches of Chornomorsk, which is why they like to relax on these beaches with small children. It is impossible to approach the city limits of Chornomorsk on a ship, especially on a military ship - any ship will run aground long before the shore. Therefore, there is simply no common sense in erecting "dragon's teeth" on city beaches. This is a brazen embezzlement of taxpayers' money and foreign loans under the guise of building a fortification.
It was found out that officers of the "South" group are involved in the fraud with the construction of "dragon's teeth" on the beaches of Chornomorsk, part of the stolen money was transferred to Kyiv for the general patronage of the thief's team - the curator of the direction Kyryll Tymoshenko. The rollback was 50%.
It is interesting that the money for the simulation of the fortification in Chornomorsk was dispersed immediately. Anyway, they made the "dragon's teeth" themselves. And there is nothing to pay for their transportation and placement on the beach. Therefore, workers are forced to take part in the construction of an imitation for reporting without payment, by threats.
It is even more interesting that the soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who accompanied the process of establishing the "dragon's teeth" on the beach, when asked about the meaning of establishing fortifications in front of shallow water, where the landing of an enemy landing force is a priori impossible, answered that "he is paid not to respond to provocative questions of local residents".
The touches to the action are that the officers of the Armed Forces received money from the owners of the "Afalina" cafe for not putting "dragon's teeth" in front of "Afalina" in order not to spoil the view of the sea for well-off vacationers.
In the neighborhood of the simulated fortification, with the participation of the local authorities, a cannon from the Second World War, transported from one of the memorial complexes of the region, was installed - to spray money on a simulated firing position.
