In Dnipro, law enforcement officers exposed officials and doctors of the Military Medical Commission (MMC) of one of the regional territorial recruitment centers (RTCC) and other medical institutions, who falsified the results of HIV tests. Their customers were men who sought to avoid conscription. The cost of such a "service" was 10,000 US dollars. This is reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
As reported, VLK doctors falsified the results of blood tests for HIV. After that, false data was entered into medical documents and the information system "Monitoring of socially significant diseases".
Such manipulations made it possible for "sick" men to remove themselves from military registration and cross the state border of Ukraine without hindrance
They also added that the "service" of removal from military registration cost 10,000 dollars.
Law enforcement officers conducted 19 searches at the places of registration and residence of the persons involved, as well as in their offices and vehicles. In particular, computer equipment, medical documentation, and other things confirming the involvement of the owners in the devices were seized.
As reported, criminal proceedings have been opened under part 3 Art. 362 (Unauthorized actions with information that is processed in electronic computing machines (computers), automated systems, computer networks or stored on media of such information, committed by a person who has the right to access it), ch. 3 Art. 368 (Acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an illegal benefit by an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The extras face imprisonment for a term of up to 10 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years, with confiscation of property.
