In the General Staff, they found thousands of soldiers who had never been to the front

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, launched an audit of the defense forces due to the discovery of thousands of soldiers who have not yet taken part in combat operations. This was announced by the head of the "Servant of the People" faction, David Arakhamia, during the broadcast of the "Topic from Moseichuk" program.

According to Arahamia, during the audit, entire units of the Ukrainian military were discovered, which did not take part in hostilities during the two years of the war. He emphasized that there are thousands of such soldiers.

"Approximately 8,000 people have already been identified who are simply assigned to the General Staff and did not participate in combat operations," he said, adding that after the audit is completed, this number will be much higher.

The deputy also noted that these units have already received orders and are preparing to go to the front for replacement or reinforcement.

"What advantages will we have from this? This is an internal reserve. Moreover, it will also reduce the need for mobilization. This is also good news for society, as it is important to keep the economy going," Arahamiya added.
