In Kharkiv, a fraudulent scheme of evasion of mobilization, organized by a 61-year-old resident of Lviv and a local midwife, was exposed. They tried to illegally issue a 31-year-old man with a large father to give him the right to defer from military service.
According to the press service of the Attorney General's office, women planned to falsify documents to help the husband avoid mobilization. Since he had two children, and the deferral required three, Lviv woman asked a familiar doctor to find a pregnant woman who will agree to indicate his father of her child.
The doctor found such a candidacy and offered her a financial reward. In December 2024, Lviv personally transferred $ 400 to the woman as an advance and promised further payments to a child of three years. She also transferred another 4,200 UAH.
In February 2025, the woman gave birth to a boy, after which Lviv came to Kharkiv with a notarized statement from her son about recognition of paternity and power of attorney. She applied to the local CNAP, where she was detained by law enforcement.
The court chose a suspected preventive measure in the form of detention without bail. A doctor who was also preparing a preventive measure was soon exposed.
The pre -trial investigation is carried out by JI KhRup # 1 of the SUNP in Kharkiv region. Operational support is provided by the State Border Service and Military Counterintelligence of the SBU. Both women are charged with Part 1 of Art. 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obstruction of the legitimate activity of the Armed Forces and other military formations in a special period).
