Kherson will be judged by a collaborator-propagandist

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office submitted to the court an indictment on a local resident, which is accused of collaborative activity, encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine and justification of Russia's armed aggression. The actions of the accused were qualified under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in particular under Part 6 of Art. 111-1 and Part 2 of Art. 436-2.

As the investigation was established, in August 2022, while in a temporarily occupied Kherson, the person involved in the propaganda action "Kherson Street", which was funded by the Russian military and occupation administration.

In particular, the man involved the youth from the village of Textile in the creation of a pro -Russian video content, which later spread to the media. The video contained candid calls for the support of the occupying power and joining the region to Russia.

In addition, the suspect used his own car to transport the participants of the action to certain locations. He also independently applied the colors of the Russian tricolor to fences and walls of buildings. Together with others, he organized the distribution of printed materials with anti -Ukrainian propaganda and defamation to the Ukrainian authorities.

The investigation was carried out by the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kherson region. The accused is currently threatened with severe punishment provided by law for collaborative activity and assistance in the enemy during armed aggression.
