In the Polish city of Krakow, a 24-year-old citizen of Ukraine became a participant in a large-scale road accident, which was injured by 19 people, four of them are in serious condition.
The accident happened in the area of Nova Huta. According to preliminary information, the Ukrainian, while driving a car, violated traffic rules and collided with the bus where the passengers were. After the impact, the driver of the bus lost control of transport and crashed into a tree. Three more cars were also damaged.
Fire crews, ambulances and an emergency medical helicopter were operating at the scene of the incident.
According to the management of the Malopolsky Voivodeship, three people were hospitalized in Krakow hospitals, and another to a medical institution in Olkush. The rest of the victims were taken to several hospitals of the city, and two were assisted without hospitalization.
Polish media reported that the Ukrainian managed a car with a transport company logo, but at the time of the accident he failed to carry out commercial transportation. It was also found that the driver was sober.
Currently, the possibility of charging a traffic accident is being considered. If the blame is proven, the Ukrainian faces up to 10 years in prison.
