Two brothers from the Ivano-Frankivsk region were detained in Kyiv, suspected of killing a 29-year-old man. According to the investigation, the conflict broke out through Russian music, which guests listened during the feast. After a verbal dispute, the guests attacked the victim with a knife and pan - from the injuries he died on the spot.
The incident was reported by the capital law enforcement officers and the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
The body of a 29-year-old resident of Kyiv region with traces of violent death was found in the kitchen of a rented apartment in the capital. According to the police, one of the brothers himself, who later turned out to be an accomplice of the crime, reported this.
It turned out that the day before the victim met two brothers, 21 and 22 years who came to Kiev from Ivano-Frankivsk in search of work. That evening, they drank alcohol together and then went to the apartment, which was rented by the brothers.
According to the prosecutor's office, the conflict arose in the apartment after the victim asked to turn off the Russian music that was heard during the feast. This request caused aggression from the owners. The quarrel quickly grew into a fight.
"During the conflict, the brothers struck more than 20 stabs and a metal pan into the chest, back and face," the Kiev police reported.
The man died in place before the arrival of the ambulance. His body was discovered by law enforcement officers, who were called by one of the attackers.
Two brothers have already reported suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - premeditated murder committed by a group of persons. The sanction of the article provides for a life imprisonment.
The court chose the defendants a preventive measure - detention without bail. Investigative actions are currently underway.
