Threatening the cashiers with a gun, the man broke the cash register with a scrap and fled with revenue. The court sentenced him to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
According to police, the attack occurred in December last year. The 61-year-old cashier of the store, who survived an armed attack, approached the militiamen. According to her, the unknown in the mask broke into the room, sent a gun to it and began to break the cashier. Having taken over 11 thousand hryvnias, the attacker fled.
Patrols, operatives and investigative team of the Podilsky Police Department immediately rushed in search of the attacker. An hour later, the attacker was detained. He was a citizen of a foreign country who has lived in Kiev since September 2024. During the detention, he was seized a gun, a breakdown - scrap, and stolen money.
The suspect was in custody all the time. The Podilsky District Court found him guilty of a robbery and sentenced him to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
