The capital at the same time recorded two dangerous outbreaks of infectious diseases - measles and hepatitis A. According to the chief sanitary physician of Kyiv, Sergei Chumak, most cases of measles were found in April, while hepatitis A was focused in the neighborhood of the Outrada.
According to Chumak, 41 cases of measles have been registered in Kyiv, of which 29 - only in April. One of the largest centers of infection is a school where 18 children were picked up by a virus. The reason for the rapid spread was the joint stay of students in one room during air anxiety.
"Cyrus is a high -control disease. Of 10 contacts, nine are getting sick," Chumak explained.
Hepatitis A outbreak continues to be investigated. The infection is mostly related to children living or studying on the Odradny - these are the streets of Raddny, Taran, Havela and Shalimov.
"Water samples from pump rooms, schools and water supply have been taken. No deviations have been detected, but an additional lake survey is planned nearby," Chumak said.
