In Kiev, a lawsuit will begin over three attackers suspected of a series of sabotage, in particular the arson of the car of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and railway facilities. According to the press service of the capital police, criminals acted on the task of Russian special services. They are threatened with life imprisonment.
The suspects, aged 19 to 28, came to the capital in search of earnings. In one of the Telegram channels, they were tasked with representatives of the aggressor country-smoking cars of military and strategically important objects.
The investigation found that in the Obolon district of Kiev saboteurs set fire to a car owned by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, they damaged the two railway cabinets. In the third crime, they managed to expose: law enforcement officers detained one of the suspects at the crime scene, and later tracked and detained the other two who tried to hide in other areas.
The investigation has gathered enough evidence, and the indictment has already been sent to court. At the request of investigators, all three suspects are in custody.
Police and SBU conducted a large -scale operation to expose saboteurs. It turned out that all three men cooperated with Russian special services, fulfilling orders from the arson of objects. Their actions could lead to significant losses and to create a threat to the lives of Ukrainians.
The saboteurs are threatened with life imprisonment under the articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine concerning sabotage activity, deliberate destruction of property and cooperation with the enemy.
This case reminds how important it is to be vigilant, especially in war, when the aggressor country tries to undermine stability in all possible ways. Ukraine managed to stop these criminals, but this is another signal for citizens: it is necessary to be careful and report suspicious persons or actions to law enforcement.
