The incident involving the well-known anti-corruption activist Oleksandr Lemenov took place in one of the capital's hospitals. According to eyewitnesses, the man shouted "Do you know who I am?!" demanded an urgent diagnosis (MRI of the back) and obtain a certificate of unfitness for military service.
Obviously, this completely contradicts the activist's morning statements that he allegedly mobilized to the ranks of the Armed Forces.
Currently, O. Lemenov is hiding in the hospital in order to buy time before a preventive measure is chosen for him.
We will remind you that O. Lemenov is a journalist of the "Mirror of the Week" publication and one of the founders of the anti-corruption organization State Watch.
As previously reported, he is wanted by the National Police and listed in the "Wanted" section on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As it became known, O. Lemenov was officially charged with malicious evasion of military service.
He was already detained in one of the Kyiv restaurants after a long hiding.
According to the available information, he was then taken to the Bilotserkiv TCC of the Kyiv region, from where he disappeared after another summons was served.
The anti-corruption organization StateWatch, led by the hero, regularly finds itself at the center of high-profile scandals.
Its co-founder, Gleb Kanevsky, after a long evasion of military service, got a job at the Ministry of Defense, in the procurement department.
