The Theirworld organization announced its support for a number of educational projects in Ukraine, the largest of which is the Museum of Mathematics in Kyiv. The cost of this project will be 5 million pounds.
The new museum will include more than 120 exhibits located in six thematic areas. In addition, it is planned to create an "innovation laboratory" to improve the qualifications of mathematics teachers throughout the country, which will allow 300,000 students to be involved in education every year.
The opening of the museum is planned for the end of this year, and it will begin its activities with a tour aimed at helping children not only in Kyiv, but also in rural and remote regions.
Theirworld also plans to collaborate with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on a national initiative on education and child development to support young school children in the crucial first eight years of their lives, when 90% of the brain is developing. their support package will include providing war-affected students and teachers with access to digital devices for distance learning and teaching.
Theirworld is a children's charity whose goal is to overcome the global education crisis and unlock the potential of the younger generation. During the war in Ukraine and neighboring countries, the organization has already helped distribute more than 70,000 laptops to students and teachers through partnerships with HP, Microsoft and the foundation of First Lady Elena Zelenska.
