In Kyiv, a man died after jumping from a pedestrian bridge

A tragic event took place in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, which shocked the citizens. Today, a man, born in 1994, died after he jumped from a pedestrian bridge over the Volodymyrsky Uzviz in the center of the city, he died on the spot.

This was reported by Kateryna Shostak, the assistant on duty of the monitoring department of the Pechersk District Police Department.

"Today at 09:36 a message was received on the special line "102" from passers-by that a man had jumped from the bridge. The man died on the spot. The investigative team identified a man born in 1994. All the circumstances of the event are being established," Shostak said.

The pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the Volodymyrsky Uzviz (also known as the "glass" bridge) is a metal three-span girder bridge in the central part of Kyiv, 216 meters long.
