In Kiev, a quarrel in the store nearly ended in murder

In Kiev, police detained a man who, during a conflict in a store on Leo Revutsky Street, caused a knife injury to another buyer. The case that could end with the murder was the reason to open criminal proceedings.

As reported in the press service of the capital police, the conflict between two unfamiliar men began with a verbal altercation, which grew into a fight. In the midst of the dispute, one of the participants got a folding knife and hit him with an opponent in the chest.

Law enforcement officers arrived promptly at the scene, who recorded the consequences of the incident. The victim was a 37-year-old resident of Kiev. He was urgently hospitalized by doctors. The attacker, a 33-year-old local resident, was detained directly on the spot.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident happened suddenly, and neither other buyers nor the shop workers had time to intervene in the situation to prevent a knife strike.

Law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings on the task of grievous bodily harm. The suspect has already been informed of the suspicion and chosen a pre -trial detention measure. However, the court provided the possibility of bail.

The victim is currently under the supervision of doctors, and investigators continue to find out all the circumstances of the conflict. For such a crime, the attacker faces up to seven years in prison.

This situation has become another reminder of the dangerous effects of aggression, especially in public. At the same time, law enforcement officers urge citizens to avoid emotional conflicts and contact the police in cases of life or health.
