35 newborns were recorded in Kyiv on the first day of 2025

On January 1, 2025, 35 babies were born in the capital of Ukraine. Among them are 20 girls and 15 boys. This indicator turned out to be somewhat lower compared to the previous year: on the first day of 2024, 51 babies were born in Kyiv.

"On January 1, 2025, 35 children were born in Kyiv, 15 of them boys and 20 girls," said Vishnevska.

On January 1, 2024, 51 babies were born in Kyiv, with more girls than boys.

Sociologist and head of the Institute of Demography and Social Research named after M. IN. Birds Ella Libanova reported that there is a demographic crisis in Ukraine, but its cause is not only the war.
