There was a scandalous incident in the capital: three men who introduced themselves to the military were ordered for over UAH 5,500 at a restaurant and refused to pay. The owner of the institution Natalia Pogromskaya considers the situation of abuse of the status of a defender and publicly told about it on social networks.
According to her, three clients ordered alcoholic beverages (tequila, rum, beer), juices and expensive seafood snacks, including tortilla with shrimp and turkey. Two of them left the restaurant, and the third remained and stated that they were a military and did not have money to pay.
"These three guys are military! And know what they did? They decided not to pay their account because they are military!" - Pogromskaya wrote indignantly. She also noted that her institution always supports and treats representatives of emergency services, military, volunteers, but requires justice and social protection for business workers.
Additional indignation caused the police reaction: according to entrepreneurs, law enforcement officers stated that "nothing could do", which only increased her disappointment with the situation.
The Pogromskaya asked the rhetorical question: "How to support the meeting and reach after such?" Indeed, such cases throw a shadow on true defenders who conscientiously perform their duty.
