In the heart of Kyiv, on Degtyarivska Street, a large-scale fraudulent call center focused on citizens of the EU countries was exposed under the roof of a respectable business center "Mikik Palace". The StopCor team recorded how about 50 people work here every day - mostly men aged 25-30 years.
According to journalists, the office on the eighth floor of the building was transformed into a real factory for lining funds from foreigners. According to the investigation, employees were actively communicating with European citizens, misleading them for the purpose of receiving money.
Orientation on EU citizens is not accidental - this allows you to avoid the attention of Ukrainian law enforcement, but poses serious threats to the international image of Ukraine. At a time when the state is actively fighting for investment, the activities of such fraudulent offices discredit the country in the eyes of Western partners.
The office where the call center works is located in a building owned by Mika-Palace LLC. According to legal data, the company rents commercial real estate. Nazar Korkhov is managed by the enterprise, and the final beneficiary is the venture fund "Effective Plus" through the AMC "Effective Investments".
It is interesting that in the previous years the founders of the company were foreign citizens, including Andri Atanasio from Cyprus and Jeffrei Todd Magistrett of Limasol. Such a corporate structure could be used to complicate the flow of funds and evasion of responsibility.
Until law enforcement agencies have given an official response to exposure, but, according to journalists, security measures have already increased in the call center. Cameras, guards, limited access - all this indicates that the organizers are well aware of the risks.
The activities of such offices are not only fraud, but also a blow to the diplomatic rename of Ukraine. Especially in the conditions of war, when the trust of foreign partners is critical.
