A shocking crime took place in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv: a 37-year-old man attacked a 23-year-old woman in an underpass on the Nadnipryansky highway. The attack took place around 5:00 p.m., when there were no passers-by nearby due to the remoteness of this place from populated areas. The man, threatening with a stationery knife, took UAH 4,000 from the victim and raped her.
The police promptly arrested the attacker the same day at his home in the capital. As it turned out, the attacker was already serving a sentence for similar crimes in Donetsk region. Now he faces up to 15 years in prison.
