Billboards with unusual heroes suddenly appeared in the capital of Ukraine: the British super-spy James Bond, known as Agent 007, and the legendary French general and politician Charles De Gaulle. The images instantly caught the attention of residents and sparked a wave of discussion on social networks.
Billboards appeared on the streets of Kyiv with the French general Charles De Gaulle, the silhouette of James Bond and the inscription "To everything in its time." The photo was published on Facebook by political expert Mykhailo Shnyder.
The expert suggested that the mysterious billboard may not be a simple joke, but an allusion to the election campaign.
"It doesn't seem like a joke, although anything can be. Judging by the military uniform in which the character on the right - General De Gaulle - is wearing, he immediately thought of the military. Maybe some technologists have already decided to cautiously start the election campaign?” Schneider wrote.
The other half of the character on the billboard — “Agent 007” — reminded the expert of spies or special services.
"Is the Office of the President catching up with mysteries? But with what goal?" Mykhailo Schneider asked.
Who is General Charles De Gaulle?
French general Charles De Gaulle was born into a noble family in 1890, he was a participant in the First World War. At the beginning of World War II, he commanded a division, and after the capitulation of France in 1940, he headed the "Free France" committee in London. From June 1943 to June 1944, De Gaulle headed the French Committee of National Liberation created in Algeria, and from 1944 to 1946 he was the head of the French government.
In 1958, Charles De Gaulle was elected president of France. In 1965, he was re-elected for a new seven-year term, but after the defeat in the referendum on the reorganization of the Senate and the reform of the territorial and administrative system of France, he resigned from the presidential post.
It should be noted that on November 26, the "Social Monitoring" center published the data of a sociological study, according to the results of which the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi will win the presidential elections in Ukraine, if he participates in them. Among those polled, 27% supported his candidacy, 16% supported Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
People's deputy from "Servant of the People" Mykola Stefanchuk on October 29 commented on the publication of the journalist of the Polish publication Wiadomości w Onet Marcin Vyrval, in which he allegedly announced during dinner in a restaurant that the presidential elections of Ukraine would be held in 6-9 months. Stefanchuk denied this information, stated that he never had dinner with Marcin Vyrval in a restaurant, and said that there should be no speculation on the topic of elections in Ukraine until the end of martial law.
