  • Dairy products and bread - by 2.1%;

  • Vegetables - 1.5%.

For alcohol and tobacco prices increased by 1.3%, including tobacco products went up by 2.2%.

At the same time, some price decrease was recorded in the transport sector - by 0.3%. This is due to the fall in the cost of fuel and grease by 2.2%. However, vehicles (+0.9%) and rail transport (+0.8%) were more expensive.

Earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine has adjusted its forecast for annual inflation for 2025 - from 8.4% to 8.7%. According to analysts, consumer prices in Ukraine are caused primarily by the increase in the value of food and transport services.

Recall that in March 2025, inflation was 1.5% against 0.8% in February and 1.2% in January, which indicates a tendency to accelerate the increase in consumer prices.
