The shocking tragedy shook the German city of Dorsten: a 16-year-old citizen of Ukraine confessed to the murder of a 32-year-old woman and her half-year-old daughter, who were also Ukrainian. This was reported by the Essen Prosecutor's Office and the Reclinghausen police.
The bodies of the dead were discovered on June 29 on the forest path. The passerby first thought that the woman was sleeping, but soon came across the baby's body in the bushes nearby. Investigators confirmed that both victims were victims of violent death.
According to the police, all three - both a woman and a child and a suspect - lived in Dorsten. The guy himself called emergency services directly at the scene and pleaded guilty. The motives of the crime remain unknown, as well as the nature of his relationship with the dead.
Investigation is currently underway. Law enforcement officers do not exclude the emergence of new details in the coming days.
