In Germany, three more suspects were arrested in connection with the fatal attack on 17-year-old Ukrainian basketball player Volodymyr Yermakov .

This was reported by the local police . According to law enforcement officers, on the morning of December 16, a 14-year-old German of Greek origin from Gerne, as well as a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old Syrian from Gelsenkirchen were detained.

Previously, all those arrested are suspected of murder, attempted murder and grievous bodily harm. The Homicide Investigation Unit is also investigating the possible involvement of the detainees in other similar crimes.

We will remind that the attack on Ukrainian basketball players took place on the evening of February 10 on Oberhausen Street. One of them, Volodymyr Ermakov, died of his injuries, while the other managed to survive. First, the police detained a 15-year-old German-Turkish schoolboy, who is already known for early morning attacks and robberies. Law enforcement authorities believe that the conflict between Ukrainians and other teenagers provoked this tragic incident.
