In Germany, a Ukrainian basketball player was brutally killed because of his nationality

A tragedy occurred in Germany: two Ukrainian basketball players were attacked because of their nationality. According to the Kyiv Basketball Federation, 17-year-old Volodymyr Ermakov was stabbed to death on Saturday evening in Germany. Volodymyr Ermakov. / © facebook.com/UkrBasket

Ermakov, together with his friend, Artem Kozachenko, played for the youth team "ART Giants" (U-19) in Dusseldorf. On the eve of the expected match, they were attacked with knives on the street only because of their Ukrainian origin. Both boys were hospitalized, but Volodymyr could not be saved, and his friend remains in intensive care.
