In the village of Shubkiv, Rivne district, there was a terrible incident: a man covered with jealousy, poured gasoline himself, his wife and car, and then set fire to everything. As a result of the tragedy, he died and a woman with severe burns got into intensive care.
According to police, the event happened on July 19 at 21:30. A 44-year-old resident arrived VAZ 2107 to pick up his 41-year-old wife from work. On the way home, a man got into a field where a quarrel broke out between them. In a gust of aggression, he fastened a woman with a seat belt, after which he poured her, himself and the car salon with gasoline - and set fire to.
Despite serious injuries, the victim was able to get out of the fire covered. She extinguished the flames, jumped into the puddle, and reached the road alone, where she was noticed by the villagers and called an ambulance. The woman was hospitalized for resuscitation with burns of 70% of the body. The man was also taken to the hospital, but he could not be saved - he died.
The police opened criminal proceedings on the assassination of premeditated murder committed with special cruelty (Part 2 of Article 15, paragraph 4 of Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
