The family of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov resides in the United States of America-in the city of Bokka-Raton, Florida. This was stated by the Executive Director of the Center for Combating Corruption Darya Kaleniuk. She posted a photo of a house with a pool, where, she said, a wife, three children, brother and father of Umerov.
In addition to the residence, according to Kaleniuk, members of the Ukrainian Minister have registered businesses in the United States, including an art gallery. "I do not know why they have an art gallery in America, but the fact is a business - business is, and the whole family lives there," Kaleniuk wrote on social networks.
The activist published this data in the context of criticism of the Ministry of Defense for his lack of efficiency in counteracting massive attacks of Dronov-Kamikadze "Shahamed". "When you are convinced that Shahhada's Florida is not flying, there is probably nothing to worry about," Kaleniuk ironically.
Earlier, in 2023, the Ministry of Defense confirmed that the Minister's family has been living in the United States since 2016. According to the department, the departure was associated with threats against Umerov. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense denied that his children have American citizenship.
The new detail was information about the father and brother of the minister, who, according to Kaleniuk, are in the United States, although it was not officially confirmed.
